I think there is a magic to be found in the digital realm. We've been speaking about ideas of imagination and the digital interface, and there's an interesting construction of magic seen with the presence of the digital world. Aspects from both the digital realm and the spiritual overlap when thinking about worlds we've been able to shape in their entirety-- rarely has such an ability existed on this planet. When it comes to visualizing new methods of thinking, it's hard to think of examples more influential than the widespread access of digital interfaces.. To me, there's magic in that.
Thinking about new methods of consideration-- it's never easy to predict where we might arrive. But to consider this prompt against my previous research on HotGlue, I'd like to blissfully imagine we might see this emerge through the increasing presence of '3D' digital interfaces. To speak to the literal understanding of what "magic" may be interpreted as, it'd be quite magical to have a space we can fly and phase through; that we can find dimension in regularly from our flat monitor screens.
Yes, the idea of magic most often brings to mind images of wands or wizard hats, but I think we'd be discrediting ourselves if we didn't say the development of the digital is magic in its own right. Even further, the development of our individual HotGlue pages is magic of its own. To be technically proficient in an entirely new realm of existing makes us all magicians in our own right.

Right now, and since the introduction of the internet, most (if not all) interfaces take place on a flat plane. Picture a paper scroll from ye olden times: you can only scroll up and down.
